Responsibilities

  • Manage daily HR operations and necessary documentation, not limit to CV screening, interview, on-board logistic, consolidating attendance details to payroll team etc.
  • Assist in executing people strategy, global principles and relevant business plans are connected to Warehouse HR action plan
  • Support the building of Logistics business competence by setting and working on relevant goals, together with the Logistics Management Team
  • Assist Business Navigation & Operations Manager to manage local staff cost budget which secures a diverse, appropriate staff structure and meets the defined business and productivity goals in the unit
  • Assist in establish and implement training plan for all levels staff at warehouse to ensure they have proper learning & development opportunities
  • Support the building of IKEA Logistics business competence by setting and working on relevant goals, together with Business Navigation & Operations Manager and Logistics Management Team
  • Ensure an up-to-date succession process and plan is in place by supporting the Logistics team to perform talent development and cross-functional exchange
  • Conduct Induction briefing programs, soft skills and IKEA Culture & Values Training for store staff
  • Handle training administration & arrangement
  • Create and implement staff engagement activities that effectively manages and foster positive co-worker experience

Competencies

  • Diploma or Degree holder in Human Resources Management or related discipline
  • 3+ years of solid experience in all-rounded HR functions and with exposure in retail/ Logistics industry a plus;
  • A team player who is mature, energetic, meticulous and result-oriented;
  • Creative, strong analytical and problem solving skills;  Capable of handling diverse responsibilities independently in a fast-paced environment;
  • Pleasant, strong sense of accountability and passionate about people;
  • Good language skills, communication skills and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong interest in pursuing career in the home furnishing industry
  • Candidates with more experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
  • Working Location: Kwai Chung Warehouse
