WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

  • Ensure Cash office procedures are followed SOP guidelines and follow up any unusual case when I do the day end report. Also, I follow cash handling procedures to ensure the security of all monies received.
  • Support Sales Manager in secure check-out coworkers have the knowledge, confidence, responsibility, authority and desire to support customer payment that they achieve this in an efficient and simple way.
  • Work with Sales Manager with support from CR Manager, to implement global solutions, services and tools that support easy and fast check out, and a safe and secure working environment.
  • I follow cash handling procedures to ensure money handling is securely managed.
  • Maintain relations with external and internal partners eg cash in Transit company.
  • Support the check-out coworkers when they cannot resolve a customer’s need, dealing positively and quickly with issues raised by our customers and act on customers' feedback so as to ensure customers leave with a positive impression of the IKEA store and want to come back and shop more frequently with us.
  • Support when needed in the customer services area on resolve customer’s need, dealing positively and quickly with issues raised and coaching my co-workers to do the same.
  • Analyse customer-related and financial key performance indicators and act with relevant stakeholders on the root cause of customer dissatisfaction and other cost drivers.
  • Know the Customer Relations action plan and support the goals & targets given to me by my manager, which ensures the effective execution of our action plan.
  • Ensure operational excellence in daily operations in order to enhance the easy buying experience.

 

TOGETHER AS A TEAM

I ensure my department/work area is effective for my customers’, and cost-efficient for my store. I handle complaints and claims efficiently and with empathy. I handle cash flow in an efficient & securely way. I always aim to create a positive experience for our customers so they will want to return and shop with us again and again. I actively work towards fulfilling the floor tasks of the store:

  • To act as a highly efficient, and staffed, sales mechanism
  • To show home furnishing solutions full of inspiring home furnishing ideas
  • To serve as a well-qualified home furnishing specialist
  • To provide a day out for the whole family
  • I am line responsible during the work shift when the manager of the area is not present. I lead by example, but do not have any direct reports or conduct development talks. I spend approximately 70% of my working time on the floor, listening, acting helping and supporting customers and co-workers and 30% of my working time on the back end assignment.
