- You have qualifications in interior design like Higher Diploma, Bachelor Degree or any related certifications
- You have business or home furnishing experience
- You have experience of working with interior design in a B2B environment
- You have a passion for business and home furnishing, retailing, design and how people live at work and homes
- You are enthusiastic about assignments and working with others in a team
- You have visual competence with a keen eye for aesthetics
- You are computer proficient with knowledge and experience of using relevant design 2D/3D software like AutoCAD, Sketchup or Revit
- You are able to draw, visualise and present ideas
- You have ability to work in a fast retail environment
- You are good attention to detail
- You have practical hands-on approach to work
- You are confident in approaching and communicating clearly with different people in various situations
- You have a flexible and hands-on approach to responsibilities as well as the ability to meet set deadlines
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
- Create business and commercial furnishing solutions with IKEA range knowledge, style groups, and services that creates value proposition of IKEA for Business
- Actively contribute to the gathering of insights from business visit interviews and external media, and translating this knowledge into amazing solutions that exceed customer expectations
- Using design planner/software and stay up to date on design knowledge in business furnishing and trends in order to contribute to the generation of creative ideas
- Contribute to the content of the IKEA for Business business plan with initiatives that will grow the business and support long-term profitability, and execute the plan together with the team
- High customer engagement and always think and plan for the customer needs and pro-actively offering solutions, using up-selling and cross-selling on home furnishing accessories and meet agreed-on deadlines
- Site measuring, design proposal, processing orders and services, implementation and on-site set up. Provide a one-stop-solution for business customers
- Constantly monitor IB sales performance and conversion, and look for optimizations. Record case details for future follow up
- Always provide solutions that are consistent with customer expectations, professional, lawful, and safe
- You take an active part in creating and archiving IKEA for Business content portfolio to use as an active selling tool and support B2B Marketing Design project where needed
- Coach and support other team members as a home furnishing experts
