  • You have 3 years experience of working in a retail role, including previous experience of managing and leading others
  • You have experience in asset recovery processes and quality management
  • You have good operational understanding and logical thinking

  • You have fair spoken and written English

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

  • Give support to Store Human Resources & Operations Manager in implementing the agreed annual action plan
  • Give support to Store Human Resources & Operations Manager in maintaining awareness and understanding of the Recovery process and the operational, cost, and environmental benefits of an effective operation
  • Leading on inspection, tracking, education, training coworkers to ensure compliance with IKEA product repair standards and quality standards
  • Leading on handling and administration of returned and transferred items with the objectives of minimizing loss and maximizing profit
  • Monitor the complete and accurate reconciliation of all written-off, damaged or returned items transferred to the Recovery department in order to help maintain an accurate store inventory
  • Monitor relevant As-Is prices given according to company approval limit and yet still generate the best results for the store
  • Provide visitors to As-Is with a positive shopping experience by being service-minded, ensuring that all relevant standards are met or exceeded and general routines and housekeeping is of the highest standard
  • Provide high levels of customer service in relation to Returns and Exchanges picks, and spare parts requests by work closely with the Customer Relation Department
  • Contribute to the safety and quality of all products in the range through submitting quality reports. To support the Quality function in the case with checking CASY quality system for sales stops and taking appropriate action
  • Contribute and develop co-operation with co-workers, specifically within your own function, through working closely together, sharing knowledge and showing understanding of each other’s responsibilities in order to secure the best possible result

To support Store Human Resources & Operations Manager to manage recovery and quality work in store. To prevent unnecessary costs to assets and give products a second chance while keeping the bottom line profit and sustainability in mind.
