  • You are a firm, proactive and fact-based decision maker who can cut complexity into simplicity and lead people to reach decisive and constructive conclusion
  • You are a degree holder preferably in Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing or Sales
  • You have minimum 5 years of relevant experience in developing business and driving results; minimum 5 years of leading and influencing teams and managing mid- to large-scale projects

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

  • Responsible for collecting insights from market / customer / IKEA North Asia market intelligence research in supporting decision making and strategic business planning. The insights include but not limited to market potential, competitor study, and customer or ranges segment analysis
  • Articulate and share insights to the key functions (e.g. Sales, Business Innovation, IKEA for Business, Customer Fulfillment and Sustainability) in support of decisions for business objectives and priorities
  • Lead the co-creation of B2B or B2C Leasing Business model, including but not limited to value proposition, target customers, pricing strategy, target ranges and offers, capability analysis, and commercial activities, with external (e.g. Service agency) and internal (e.g. IKEA for Business, Stores, Customer Fulfillment, Customer Support) partners from planning, design to evaluation
  • Work with Finance to assess the profitability for business model and to align budget resource. Oversee and track the expenditure in line with the agreed budget
  • Communicate, align and provide clarity of business strategy and models with key stakeholders, and coordinate business case preparation in support of securing the commitment and resources across the North Asia organization
  • Implement the business strategies through collaboration with internal and external partners to develop the position and competitive advantage of IKEA lease business in the market, as well as set up the operation capabilities for the new business line
  • Build SME (subject matter experts) competence through understanding markets, customers, and how to develop leasing business. Identify competence requirements, and secure development plans and actions
  • Actively measure the performance and identify improvement potentials throughout the implementation to optimize the processes, resources, capabilities, and profitability for sustainable growth of the leasing business. Initiate actions for improvement potentials to drive long-term profitability
  • Establish agile ways of working and culture, and articulate the impacts and challenges for new business pilot in the early stage of the project planning to engage and motivate cross-functional team members
  • Proactively provide project updates to leaders in key functions, articulating pilot status, learnings, challenges, and recommendations for improvement, to continuously engage stakeholders, to secure integration and common focus, and to maximize impact
