- You are presentable, organized, energetic and able to lead a team of sales staff
- You have good business sense, assertive and independent

- You have good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- You are proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- You are a Tertiary Education (or above) holder
- You have minimum 3 years' hands-on experience in high volume retail environment with at least 1 years at supervisory level
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
- Together with your team to focus on putting the customer first in everything the team do within the store, every customer must have a shopping experience that exceeds his or her expectations
- Actively sales steer to your shop’s top-selling products, prioritized products (e.g. overstock) and IKEA service products in order to maximize sales and long-term profitability
- Act quickly on commercial opportunities; changing availability of products and customer feedback
- Proactive in finding opportunities and acting on them to maximize sales through understanding customers and the local market and keeping an eye on competition
- Take full responsibility for ensuring the shop is in excellent shape as new and fully stocked, with the four merchandising basics in place at all times (priced, clean, well assembled and available) and plan the sufficient manpower in the shop
- Together with the Shopkeeper, take responsibility for the department goals and ensure the action plan is in place and communicated clearly to the team
- Passionate about the IKEA products and create a high level of knowledge about the products’ features and benefits, and share this with customers and the team
- Coach and provide on the job training to the team
