About the assignment

  • Ensure a safe, secure and compliant working environment for our customers, suppliers, and co-workers, securing implementation of relevant rules, guidelines and standard operating procedures
  • Responsible for securing that the costs are in line with goals and to highlight deviations and potentials so as to achieve the goals
  • Understand the Profit and Loss and steer actions to provide “store in shape as new”, ensuring investments are done with proper ROI and considering all impacts on the P&L and the business
  • Negotiate cost effective contracts with external service providers
  • Decide on how to invest in property, maintenance and cleaning routines in order to positively impact sales and productivity in a cost-effective way
  • Recruit the team through IKEA values by identifying what skills are needed to complete the tasks
  • Define and plan the right shifts planning to ensure that the team and duty managers are available at the right time to support the store operation
  • Monitor and analyze the staffing matters and work with HR team to ensure the appropriate mix of staff for work in the most cost-efficient way
  • Responsible for summarizing and communicating the Financial Goals and follow accurate financial administration in accordance with IKEA financial rule
  • Create an environment where the IKEA culture is strong, and diversity is valued

About you

  • 10 years’ experience in sales, operations or finance
  • Analytical skills with the ability to identify required business actions
  • Good skills in supporting an efficient and cost-effective commercial performance
  • Ability to build trust and communicate in a clear and targeted way with different people in various situations
  • Good communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to make things happen with flexibility, speed and simplicity
  • Ability to organize, handle and manage things at the same time under limited resources
