Job responsibilities

  • Arrange and drive HR functions or programs which support our strategy on enhancing IKEA as “A Great Place to Work At” in the defined local market
  • Act as a trusted business partner and work closely with assigned business units / departments to provide professional HR services and advices on compensation & benefits, performance management, etc.
  • Participate and lead various annual activities such as performance appraisal and salary review
  • Drive HR projects and system enhancement from collecting user requirements, system rollout, implementation and UAT to facilitate operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Work closely with DF Payroll Team for payroll process including the maintenance of payroll records, calculation of bonus payment / overtime payments, recording payroll changes, processing final / special payments and annual tax filing
  • Provide all information, communication and coordination on benefit administration and renewal of staff benefits
  • Prepare and interpret HR analytics such as HR monthly report, staff database update, manpower planning, program effectiveness to support business needs
  • Facilitate communication channels for employees to express their opinions or concerns and provide regular feedback to line managers
  • Assist in reviewing and implementing HR policies and procedures.  Proactively look for new ways on improving current operations and bring value-added HR solutions to business
  • Promote a safe, pleasant and enjoyable working environment to facilitate co-worker relationship and help retain right people
  • Provide advice to Store HRs on co-worker relations related agenda
  • Support matric partners and store organization regarding the co-worker relationship strategies, processes, actions and tools
  • Develop and create effective co-worker communication

Job requirements

  • Proficient knowledge on Hong Kong labor ordinance
  • Proficient in application of MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Creative and capable for thinking out of the box for proposing recommendation and HR solutions
  • Strong sense of responsibility and accountability
  • Strong willingness on delivering excellent services to internal customers
  • Possess the mindset on continuous improvement on operating efficiency
  • Passionate about people
