Store People & Culture Business Partner (Tsuen Wan Store, Shift Holiday)

  • You have minimum 3 years’ experience of working in Human Resources field
  • You are a considered decision-maker with the ability to influence management colleagues
  • You have the ability to create a win-win situation when handling conflict situations
  • You have experience as a coach and/or mentor
  • You are self-reliant and motivated with proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
  • You have effective communication and relationship management experience
  • You are experience in supporting managers in resolving performance and other people management issues
  • You have the ability to identify need for and drive change within the unit
  • You are experience in organizing activities and training
  • You have good analytical skill and numerical sense
  • You have the ability to ensure integrity of HR systems, guidelines and documents
  • You can maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • You feel comfortable to work in shift and weekend
  • You are proficient in Microsoft office and Chinese Word Processing
  • You can communicate confidently and clearly in spoken and written English



  • Act as an People & Culture Business Partner to the unit manager on all people topics
  • Secure that the values based recruitment, selection and onboarding process are implemented
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives and process for retaining diverse talent
  • Together with the store management team, execute and monitor budgeted man hour plans which secures a diverse, appropriate staff structure and meets the defined business and productivity goals in the store
  • Assist Store People & Culture Manager to develop and implement people strategies and initiatives aligned with business strategy
  • Support the store management team to continuously develop leadership and business competence capabilities within their function according to business needs
  • Support the store management team in taking the lead with special focus on talents and high-performing potentials, contributing to country and regional initiatives
  • Be a good example of IKEA leadership in ways that express the IKEA values within and outside IKEA, and together with the unit managers help to safeguard and promote the IKEA Culture
  • Implement a co-worker relations plan that effectively manages all local interactions with co-workers and ensures that all areas in the store work with the labor relations principles and uphold policies, procedures and laws
  • Work with Learning & Development team to schedule co-workers to attend internal and external learning events to meet requirements and the wider learning and development strategy




Be a strong contributor to the store management team, provide People & Culture subject matter expertise, process People & Culture operational matters and ensure that the People & Culture strategies are translated into store actions in the most effective and efficient way in order to fulfil the purpose of the P&C function in the store.
